Host Justin Timberlake worked song and dance into nearly every sketch on this past weekend’s Saturday Night Live — his take on Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” while dressed as a giant breast implant was pretty amusing, and he also appeared alongside musical guest Ciara (clip after the jump) — but “Motherlover,” his new digital short with “Dick in a Box” costar Andy Samberg stole the show.
Set five months after their “Dick” bust, the pair of Color Me Badd-styled singers leave jail just in time for Mother’s Day, realize they have no gifts for their moms (their boxes are empty without the dicks) and plot an ingenious, filthy “switcheroo” over hero sandwiches — because what’s a better present than sex with your son’s pal? Susan Sarandon and Patricia Clarkson guest star as the lonely cougars who play Mrs. Robinson for their respective son’s best friend, because “Every Mother’s Day deserves a Mother’s Night.”Source
This song is very, very bad and very, very funny.
I always forget to watch SNL because let's face it, it's been with the exception of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, not exactly "must see tv."
But this I might not have watched anyway because the one time I saw Justin Timberlake live--with the Rolling Stones believe it or not--he was awful. Truly terrible. But between "Dick in a Box" and his other comedy bits as well as his very strong "enhanced" performances--as in his bit here with Ciara, I may have to reconsider.
Even though I resided at Maple Lake for a total of about 5 weeks last summer I still did not get a chance to sight-see at the super-neat Haliburton Sculpture Forest.
The Haliburton Highlands is a artist's enclave with about as many different types of art
and artists as you could possibly imagine. I don't have the big bucks needed to lug home a fraction of what I would if I could but the Art Forest is FREE!
Speaking as someone who dabbles in photography I can attest to the fact
that it's a beautiful setting to indulge in photographic pursuits.
But last summer it rained quite a bit and was sort of cold and when the weather was nice I wanted to be down at the beach or in the Lake. I cannot believe I never made it to the Haliburton Sculpture Forest. This year, rain or shine. (I really hope we have some sunny days!)

with a broad assortment of sculptures by Canadian and International
sculptors. Free guided tours are available each Tuesday morning in
July and August. Located next to the Haliburton Highlands Museum and
the Haliburton School of the Arts, the Sculpture Forest is available to
hikers and bicyclists in the spring, summer and fall. During the
winter months, cross-country skiiers enjoy the serenity on a groomed
trail.
Read the whole story: PETA UK:
Jamie Bamber has long been a firm favourite on the sci-fi scene, with his ever-exciting role as Lee "Apollo" Adama in Battlestar Galactica. And now he's wooing UK audiences as DS Matt Devlin in the new ITV1 drama Law and Order. There's nothing quite like fighting for justice and helping those in need – and always look really good doing it, of course!
It didn't surprise us one bit that Jamie is like that in real life too. That's why he bared his skin in PETA's newest ad to help save black bears killed for their fur. When Jamie learned how Canadian black bears are killed to make the Queen's Guards' ceremonial caps, the British-born actor jumped at the chance to help. "I initially decided to do the PETA ad because a great friend of mine in L.A., Lucy Davis, had just done a similar ad, and I love Lucy and it was a cause I didn't know about – I'll be honest. So as soon as Lucy opened my eyes, I was thrilled to join her and do my bit."
Apollo & His Towel
From "Final Cut," Battlestar Galactica.
While D'Anna interviews Viper pilots by their bunks, Apollo tries to introduce himself.
Until now fans of Jamie Bamber (Apollo On the Sci Fi Channel's Battlestar Galactica) had to make do with the awesome but short clip of Mr. Bamber almost losing his very small towel in a memorable scene from the episode "Final Cut" on the tv series "Battlestar Galactica." No more. In an effort to raise awareness of the plight of black bears killed to make the Queen's Guard's caps--it takes one whole bear to make a single cap--Jamie got naked for PETA.(top of page) Originally found at HuffPost.
“Part of his job is to stay in touch with the American people, and the
White House can be a very suffocating place if you don’t get out and
talk to people,” David Axelrod, a senior adviser to President Obama, speaking of the presidential visit back home to Chicago.
This video is a veritable Where's Waldo of
the entire inner circle of the 43rd and 44th inner-circle-to-be White
House administrations.
All the living ex-presidents and on across the board and down the line are sitting here. Everyone's really freezing, too. :)
All set to Aretha. And her hat!
She is awesome here but when is Aretha Franklin's voice not awesome?
Also,
pay attention and see rude Joe Biden yacking during the song. You can
bet neither Michelle nor Barack did anything but listen and enjoy
Aretha sing for them.
(No surprise that it was more than Biden of
course, in this crowd of more than 100 peeps who did not give the Queen
of Soul undivided attention). Nancy Pelosi looked to have responded to
her neighbour (talked during the song) but she grooved to Aretha much
of the time, too

After Christian Bale freaked out on the set of Terminator Salvation and TMZ released the audio, a music producer, RevoLucian, made an awesome dance track with all of the anger of a Christian Bale moment, but with better beats.
Also with Barbra Streisand. :)
Remember when Bill O'Reilly freaked-out at that intern? Remember two days ago when TMZ released the audio of Christian Bale freaking out? Remember mash-ups? We remember all these things, and so does the video editor that spliced them all together...

It is "dibs" season in the city of Chicago though dibs on street parking are not enforceable. Chicagoans take their parking spots rights very seriously ("Rights" are earned by shoveling out a spot for your car). But what to do when you've actually got to use your car? Use whatever you can get your hands on to hold that space!
The bale of hay is the most unusual spot-holder I've seen yet. :)
