Carving Jack o' lanterns

every time you say that it's "top down" weather, i think you're driving topless. haha!

Haha!

In my younger years--maybe--at night for like 10 seconds. lol

[this is good]
Love the guys' carvings - very clean!! So funny, I also buy pumpkins then never get around to carving them, the rot seems to happen so much faster that way....but I love "The Harvest" feel of our home this time of year, I bet you know just what I mean!
LOL driving top down - like one of those tube tops rolled down? ha ha. I carved a pumpkin the first year I was here... you are right about the smell of the innards and then worse, my pumpkin went mouldy underneath and smelt out the apartment. I haven't done one since. It was 70 here yesterday and only in the 50's today... hard for this old body to adjust!

I know what you mean about the rot. And we are having Indian summer and those jacko's are in the sun.

We've still two uncarved inside and lots of small ones and gourds so yes--harvest time is much enjoyed.

Ooh you are getting the extremes something like us. For three days it froze at night--killed all the flowers. Now two days of warmth--with three more to go--then I'll bet it drops again.

You are not alone, Emjay--I'm not good with all the ups and down either!
